The GM will drive training, set performance standards, engage the community, and manage P&L to achieve Mission & Promise outcomes. This role requires flexibility with shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Level 2 ServSafe certification required.
• Internal candidates must complete required training within Donatos Training Roadmap.
• External management experience (1 year) preferred; internal 6 months Donatos experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empowers associates to resolve customer concerns to satisfaction.
• On-boarding and training for new associates; clarify roles.
• Model performance standards and coach the team.
• Ensure staffing levels and adjust for volume.
• Control cash and assets; enforce cash handling policies.
• Engage with community and build partnerships for growth.
• Manage food costs, waste, inventory, and theft.
• Enforce safety, hygiene, and operating norms.
• Open/close procedures and proper paperwork.
• Address customer needs and resolve complaints promptly.
• Monitor product quality and food safety compliance.
• Coach team to achieve store goals and readiness checklist usage.
• Communicate performance expectations and progress toward results.
• Accountable for P&L and cost reduction initiatives.
