Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe in Nashville seeks a motivated general manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, and coach a high-performing team. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, food safety, and guest experience to ensure consistent service quality.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of upper management in hospitality, strong leadership, and a passion for fresh Mediterranean fare. This full-time role offers opportunity for growth and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong leadership and guest service skills.
• Experience in managing P&L, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to recruit, train, and mentor staff in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Must obtain Food Manager’s certification shortly after starting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze store P&L and set path to hit cost goals.
• Write weekly staff schedules balancing people development and labor costs.
• Set tone for shifts and give clear directions to staff.
• Mentor staff, supervise quality crew development and training.
• Lead food safety practices and menu knowledge.
• Oversee catering orders and kitchen support when needed.
• Order supplies and manage cash handling procedures.
• Screen, interview, and onboard hourly employees.
• Ensure guest service and health department standards.
