Job summary

Sonic Drive-In seeks a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead daily drive-in operations and oversee staff. You will recruit, train, and coach teams; manage schedules, labor, and inventory; and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining cost controls and compliance with company policies.

You will oversee opening/closing, vendor performance, and reporting, developing action plans for local marketing and business performance, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields preferred.
• At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
• Knowledge of labor laws (federal, state, local) and health/safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct, coach, lead, schedule, assign, discipline, and terminate the drive-in’s staff and employees.
• Manage compensation levels pursuant to company guidelines.
• Oversee operations to optimize guest experience and cost control.
• Handle opening/closing duties and guest/employee issues.
• Plan, forecast, and adjust food, labor, inventory to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Lead team meetings and maintain all operational records/reports.
