Job summary

KFC is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Albany, GA to lead a high-performing team and uphold the brand’s standards. You will recruit, train, and develop your crew, drive profitability, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across every shift.

You will mentor Assistant Managers and shift leaders, implement training programs, and maintain a positive, inclusive culture while managing budgets and scheduling for peak performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years in restaurant or retail management with a strong track record in people management.
• Proven ability to improve performance based on P&L analysis.
• Proficient with digital tools and platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
• Solid understanding of restaurant maintenance programs.
• Champions KFC’s culture and values, with a focus on Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.
• Experienced in recognizing and motivating teams, with a successful track record in people development.
• Skilled in recruiting top talent and training both high and under-performing employees.
• Adaptable to change and experienced in supporting change management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and conduct orientations for Team Members and Shift Supervisors.
• Develop a comprehensive training plan and mentor management staff.
• Recognize and reward outstanding performance and foster inclusion.
• Address and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
• Engage with customers and swiftly resolve issues for a positive experience.
• Schedule staff to optimize service and coach on KFC brand standards.
• Lead product rollout meetings for successful implementation.
• Analyze financial performance, manage the budget, and maximize profitability.
• Stay informed about competitors and strive to exceed their standards, including digital presence and loyalty programs.
