Job summary

KFC in Maine seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-performing team, recruit and train staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will manage P&L, optimize scheduling, and promote KFC culture and equity initiatives.

You’ll coach the management team, drive training initiatives, resolve issues with guests, and implement profitable product rollouts while maintaining quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years in restaurant or retail management with a strong track record in people management.
• Proven ability to improve performance based on P&L analysis.
• Proficient with digital tools and platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
• Solid understanding of restaurant maintenance programs.
• Champions KFC’s culture and values, with a focus on Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.
• Experienced in recognizing and motivating teams, with a successful track record in people development.
• Skilled in recruiting top talent and training both high and under-performing employees.
• Adaptable to change and experienced in supporting change management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and conduct orientations for Team Members and Shift Supervisors.
• Develop a comprehensive training plan and mentor leadership staff.
• Recognize and reward outstanding performance and foster inclusion.
• Address conflicts promptly and maintain a positive work environment.
• Engage with customers to resolve issues and ensure a positive experience.
• Strategically schedule staff and coach on brand standards; lead rollout meetings.
• Analyze financial performance and manage the budget to maximize profitability.
• Stay informed about competitors and improve digital presence and loyalty programs.
