Job summary

Applebee's in Pflugerville, TX seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and boost profitability. You will supervise a high‑performing management team, uphold brand standards, and champion a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

As a hands‑on leader, you’ll develop staff, implement effective training, and mentor teams while maintaining performance objectives and guest service excellence across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ current General Manager experience in casual restaurant.
• High School Diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment.
• ServeSafe Certification preferred (training may be provided)

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Attain sales and profit objectives while maintaining high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety and sanitation.
• Lead and develop managers and team members; foster a positive culture.
• Model company values and deliver exceptional hospitality on every shift.
