Job summary

Charter Foods is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the operation of the entire restaurant and to build a high-performing team that delivers exceptional guest experiences. You will hire, train, and mentor staff, schedule effectively, handle customer issues, and drive financial performance.

The role requires strong leadership and communication, a track record of developing people, and a positive, proactive mindset to sustain growth and success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time.
• Competitive spirit and passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate the entire restaurant and build a strong team that delivers great food and a friendly experience.
• Find, hire and develop employees, conduct new hire orientation and execute the training plan.
• Schedule and deploy the Team, address performance issues, and assist in resolving customer issues.
• Manage the restaurant budget and financial plans.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and communication, with a focus on people development and a positive attitude.
