Job summary

Charter Foods is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the restaurant team, ensuring exceptional hospitality and food quality. You will hire, train, and develop staff, schedule and deploy resources, and manage customer issues and financial plans.

You will be accountable for building a high-performance culture, driving operational excellence, and delivering strong guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time.
• Competitive spirit and passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team that delivers great food and a friendly experience.
• Find, hire and develop employees; conduct new hire orientation and implement the training plan for each new hire.
• Schedule and deploy the Team; address performance issues and assist in resolving customer issues.
• Manage the restaurant budget and financial plans.
