SONIC Drive-In in Austin, TX is hiring a General Manager to lead our team toward delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee training, scheduling, staffing, and daily operations to ensure safe, clean, and efficient service across all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies in business preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Ability to work a minimum 5-day week with some nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices.
• Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and health/sanitation regulations.
• Leadership and supervisory skills; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Crew/Team members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops to standards.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure quality service and adherence to policies.
• Open/close restaurant and prepare operational reports.
• Prepare and adjust employee schedules and staffing levels.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within cost controls.
• Maintain records and payroll related documents.
