Job summary

Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the restaurant team and drive sales growth while upholding the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

You will hire and train staff, manage labor costs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, all while maintaining a positive and professional work environment. As a GM, you will develop plans with employees to improve performance, conduct meetings, oversee inventory and cash

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager.
• Good references.
• Able to work all shifts and weekends.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interview and hire qualified staff to operate the restaurant according to company standards and regulations.
• Schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and manage guest flow.
• Manage labor costs to meet company standard.
• Train the management team and crew using current training system.
• Evaluate performance at company designated intervals.
• Design development plans with each employee to improve performance.
• Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and crew.
• Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as warranted.
• Assist with crew member duties as needed.
• Conduct crew and management team meetings to discuss procedures, promotions, safety, and training.
• Maintain supplies and inventory to meet restaurant needs and company standards.
• Control inventory to meet Food Cost Variance standards.
• Maintain reports and records per company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain building and equipment with proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Responsible for all cash and adherence to cash procedures.
• Ensure appearance meets company standards and displays professionalism.
• Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe environment.
• Represent Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. professionally in all activities.
