Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is hiring a General Manager to oversee a Sonic restaurant. You will lead crew, carhops and shifts, ensure service standards, manage scheduling and inventory, and develop action plans to address sales trends.

The role requires leadership, staffing expertise, and knowledge of labor laws and sanitation; compensation is competitive and the work environment is described as positive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
• Minimum 2 years restaurant management experience, QSR preferred.
• Experience running shifts without supervision; leadership skills.
• Knowledge of labor laws and sanitation regulations; strong communication.
• Ability to recruit, interview and hire staff; multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew, carhops and skaters.
• Directs drive-in employees to meet service standards.
• Maintains compliance with employee handbook and policies.
• Performs opening/closing duties and schedules staff.
• Monitors inventory and places supplies orders within cost controls.
• Prepares operational reports and action plans for sales trends.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan.
