Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a results-driven Restaurant General Manager to lead all restaurant operations and deliver an outstanding guest experience. The role focuses on driving sales, profitability, and team development in a fast-paced environment.

The RGM leads by example, coaches staff, ensures food safety and quality standards, and creates a positive, engaging work culture while maintaining strong guest service and organizational performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all restaurant policies, practices and HR procedures.
• Knowledge of labor cost reporting and operating statements.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with restaurant software.
• Ability to supervise others and coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, high-energy restaurant service environment exceeding guest expectations.
• Communicate with guests, gather feedback, and identify service improvements.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly using a courteous, solution-focused approach.
• Ensure calls are handled promptly and professionally.
• Lead regular training and provide feedback to team members.
• Cross-train staff and develop new skills, maintaining a positive work environment.
• Maintain compliance with laws, policies, and safety standards.
• Oversee budgets, inventory, maintenance, and routine repairs.
• Prepare and analyze operation reports; perform other duties as assigned.
