Popeyes in Illinois is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, uphold food quality, guest service, and cleanliness, and mentor a diverse team.

You will manage schedules, payroll, inventory, and costs while driving sales growth and local marketing, all within compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree a plus).
• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards in food quality, guest service, and cleanliness
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop top talent for all team positions
• Motivate and coach team members and managers to achieve goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience
• Oversee inventory management, food and labor costs, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Drive sales growth and profitability through operational excellence and local marketing
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks efficiently
