Job summary

Burger King Lake Station is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and drive guest satisfaction, sales, and profitability. You will lead a team, manage financial controls, and ensure compliance across shifts in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of restaurant management experience and the ability to plan, schedule, and mentor staff while adapting to irregular hours and high-pressure scenarios.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• Complete all internal certification programs.
• 1–2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P-L interpretation and management to influence profitability.
• Ability to prioritize and organize own and others' work to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) has overall responsibility for managing daily operations of a single restaurant (10-45 employees) ensuring guest satisfaction and achieving profitability and retention.
• The RGM leads the restaurant management team and oversees financial controls, operations, people development, guest service and BKC compliance across all shifts.
• The RGM should be able to work long and/or irregular shifts, including extra shifts, as needed, for proper restaurant functioning.
• This position is overseen by a District Manager (DM) and directly manages Team Members, Shift Coordinators and Assistant Managers.
• This role interacts with restaurant staff, management, DM-s, customers, field ops and outside vendors.
