Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a General Manager in Tukwila, WA to lead daily store operations in collaboration with the District Manager. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, team development, and achieving strong operating results.

The GM will recruit, train, schedule, and mentor staff, manage performance, oversee inspections, and ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Flexibility for varied hours including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous food service or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Food Handler Certification required. Can be obtained during onboarding training.
• Experience using a computer and register (POS) system.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights and/or holidays.
• Spanish Speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote Wingstop's culture, values, and mission.
• Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling team members, in partnership with the District Manager.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline staff with professional maturity; communicate job expectations.
• Communicate with District Manager about operational and HR issues.
• Perform regular restaurant inspections to ensure standards.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events.
• Track inventory and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Resolve customer service issues with courtesy to cultivate returning customers.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy facility environment with sanitation standards and procedures.
• Accomplish company goals by taking ownership of new responsibilities.
• Meet policies and standards including cash handling and safety.
• Maintain facilities to Wingstop’s standards; ensure communication from GM to team.
• Use company tools to coach and develop team; manage risk per standards.
• Drive results through team collaboration to meet store metrics.
