Farmer Boys is seeking a General Manager in California to lead restaurant operations, drive profitability, and mentor a team across all crew positions. The GM will oversee scheduling, budgeting, training, and adherence to safety and quality standards while ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires cross-training across positions, strong leadership, and a proven track record in restaurant management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and HS diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification required.
• 1–3 years of progressive leadership/management experience in a restaurant or customer service setting.
• Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategic short- and long-term goals including profitability and revenue growth.
• Control costs and manage labor, food/beverage, and operating expenses.
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and training of new team members.
• Oversee ongoing training and performance management of restaurant staff.
• Ensure high-quality food/beverage offerings and guest satisfaction during shifts.
• Maintain cash handling procedures, inventory, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Ensure restaurant appearance, guest service, and facility maintenance meet standards.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
