Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead and manage the drive-in’s operations and employees. You will recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and direct staff, ensuring top guest experience and adherence to company standards.

The role focuses on staffing, cost control, scheduling, and operation oversight to deliver safe, clean, and efficient service while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. The position demands long hours and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields preferred.
• At least three years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience leading shifts and recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train assistant managers and employees, directing and coaching teams.
• Manage compensation, scheduling, discipline, and performance per company guidelines.
• Oversee drive-in operations to ensure an optimal guest experience and compliance with standards.
• Handle opening/closing duties, staff issues, and guest concerns.
• Plan and manage food, labor, inventory and cost-control to maximize efficiency and quality.
