Job summary

Papa Johns is seeking a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations in Texas. This leadership role oversees all restaurant functions to ensure profitability, with accountability for staffing, training, compliance, and customer experience.

It requires strong decision-making, budgeting, and team development to drive results. The GM will coordinate with Operations Managers and shift leaders, implement company policies, and ensure safety and quality standards across the operation.

Qualifications

• Two years successful restaurant management or supervision experience preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Serv-Safe/Local/State Food Service Certification
• Basic accounting including invoice reconciliation and financial statement analysis.
• Cash management skills
• Bilingual in certain markets
• Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, insurance, satisfactory vehicle and ability to drive.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (50+ hours per week required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards; address deficiencies and respond to concerns.
• Oversee recruiting to meet staffing needs and enforce appearance standards; conduct performance reviews.
• Drive sales by optimizing service, tickets, and local marketing; engage with the community.
• Control costs and manage inventory, safety, and maintenance to protect assets.
