Job summary

Burger King in Jefferson, GA seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and deliver a premier guest experience.

As RGM you will own the restaurant P&L, recruit and develop a 20–45 person team, schedule effectively, and uphold brand standards with a focus on guest satisfaction.

You’ll manage community outreach and local marketing, ensure compliance with laws, and mentor managers and hourly staff to achieve strong performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred.
• One to two years of previous restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Ability to prioritize one's own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain primary accountability for the restaurant P&L and actively manage toward financial outcomes.
• Drive sales through proactive guest service, people development, and operations management.
• Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, friendly, and fast service.
• Analyze guest feedback systems to determine root causes and develop action plans.
• Identify and engage with the community to attract prospective guests and execute local marketing initiatives.
• Lead recruitment and selection to build and retain an effective restaurant team.
• Onboard new team members by training and guiding them through the certification process.
• Schedule and manage labor with optimal staffing.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
• Perform the duties of the Assistant Manager and Hourly Shift Coordinator as needed.
