Summary

A Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing strong, positive leadership to their team to deliver excellent guest experiences, operational excellence, and to help build profitable sales for a single restaurant. They oversee the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with brand standards, Indus policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members
  2. Lead team meetings
  3. Train restaurant team members
  4. Ensure execution of brand standards, recipes, and systems
  5. Create and maintain a guest-focused culture
  6. Review guest feedback and implement improvement plans
  7. Communicate restaurant priorities, goals, and results to team members
  8. Implement new product rollouts, including training, marketing, and sampling
  9. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety, food safety, and sanitation standards and complying with laws
  10. Control costs to maximize profitability
  11. Conduct periodic inventory
  12. Prepare weekly labor schedules to meet guest demand and service standards
  13. Manage supplier and vendor orders
  14. Conduct self-assessments and develop action plans
  15. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in line with company policies and privacy regulations
  16. Ensure restaurant budget goals are met
  17. Manage cash over/short and ensure adherence to cash management policies
  18. Handle daily cash deposits at the bank
  19. Engage with Brands Field Operations team as needed
  20. Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop team members
  21. Monitor, evaluate, and review employee performance
  22. Coach team members to increase sales, improve profitability, and enhance guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED minimum
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry
