Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group is seeking an energetic restaurant manager for Marco’s Pizza locations in North Canton. You will lead a team to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service while driving sales and controlling costs.

Hires, trains and schedules staff, enforces company policies, and ensures safety, sanitation and smooth daily operations. This role requires weekend availability and a commitment to growth with our franchise network.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience.
• 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members.
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.
• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.
• Create an environment that promotes the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain and develop our people.
• Source and interview all store employees to ensure they will embrace our values, including a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.
• Maintain standards for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and the ordering system are in place; complete weekly and end-of-period inventories.
• Complete inventory reporting and ensure par levels are met and the ordering system is in place.
• Create store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Monitor weekly KPIs and develop plans to achieve goals.
• Maintain the store exterior and overall property condition.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
