Job summary

BLT Restaurant Group seeks an experienced General Manager to own the restaurant’s financial health and act as the face of the establishment.

You will oversee operations, monitor daily sales, verify invoices, and guide front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years management experience; minimum 2+ years' General Manager experience
• Fine-Dining experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily sales reports and cash flow
• Verify all invoices for payment
• Update daily food cost reports/projections and review with Chef
• Oversee comp/void reporting
• Schedule all FOH employees and monitor overtime
• Oversee tip reporting
• Submit payroll reports to accounting
• Be physically present on the floor during service to ensure service standards
• Guide, direct and train service staff; observe the flow of guests and provide assistance
• Personally involve self with the service of VIP tables
• Assist in expediting seating and guest satisfaction
• Communicate with kitchen regarding pace of service, special needs, and general guest satisfaction
• Assist in wine sales and service
• Hire and Train the staff to have comprehensive knowledge of the menu, wine list and service standards
• Observe staff appearance and take action as necessary
• Discuss service procedures and train staff
• Conduct trainings and staff meetings to communicate expectations
• Maintain a healthy, happy and productive work environment for employees

Job description

We\'re seeking an experienced leader who will take bottom-line responsibility for our restaurant\'s fiscal health and be the \"face\" of our establishment.
