Job summary

Popeyes Restaurant General Manager (RGM) leads the restaurant’s business, team, and guest experience in Chalmette, LA. You’ll partner with your District Manager to drive results, develop leaders, and bring bold Louisiana flavors to life every day.

As the executive leader, you own the P&L, ensure standards, coach managers and hourly staff, and create a welcoming, high-performing environment while upholding Popeyes brand and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (2 years of college preferred).
• 1–2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and profitability drivers.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to coach, motivate, and develop others.
• Strong guest service instincts and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Own the restaurant by driving sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Set the guest experience standard through fast, friendly service and thoughtful issue resolution.
• Build and develop leaders by hiring, coaching, and supporting management and hourly teams.
• Protect the brand and performance by managing labor, inventory, compliance, and local engagement.
