Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Springfield, IL seeks a restaurant supervisor to oversee all a la carte Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant, coffee bar and lounge. You will greet guests, seat them, and supervise staff to ensure courteous, efficient service.

You’ll manage scheduling and payroll, coordinate with other departments, and help maintain quality and guest satisfaction while supporting menu changes and promotions. This is a full-time position at our Springfield property.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of food outlet operations and guest interaction.
• Current Food Handler Card and TABC license or in the process of certification.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Good communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Restaurant Manager in interviewing, training, supervising, and disciplining staff.
• Maintain outlet scheduling and payroll.
• Organize pre-shift meetings and communicate daily specials and menu changes.
• Meet and greet guests, escort to tables, and present menus.
• Coordinate reservations and liaise with other departments.
• Monitor quality and guest satisfaction; ensure profitable operation.
• Control inventory, par stock, ordering, and stocking of supplies.
