Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a Food & Beverage leader to oversee all a la carte operations across restaurant, room service and lounge at our Houston property.

The role involves supervising staff, maintaining service quality and guest satisfaction, coordinating scheduling and payroll, and supporting menu planning, promotions and internal communications to ensure a courteous, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Food outlet operations and guest interaction.
• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card and TABC license or be in process of certification.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Basic English proficiency to understand inquiries and convey instructions.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.

Responsibilities

• Assist Restaurant Manager/F&B Director in interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling and disciplining restaurant staff for efficient operation of the outlet.
• Maintain outlet scheduling and payroll.
• Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings, communicating pertinent information to staff.
• Meet and greet guests, escort to tables, and present menus.
• Coordinate reservations and document them.
• Monitor quality and guest satisfaction; ensure food is appealing and prepared to specifications.
• Control payroll and equipment costs; manage inventory and par stock levels.
• Support F&B operations, run promotions, and assist with public relations and marketing.
• Provide a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures.
