Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial Equipment Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain restaurant equipment. The role requires strong electrical, mechanical, and carpentry skills, along with safety/ PPE awareness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical maintenance, and carpentry.
• Proficiency with safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools and electrical testing devices.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and systems running smoothly.
• Inspecting, operating, or testing machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Diagnosing mechanical problems and planning repairs from manuals and diagrams.
• Assembling, installing, or repairing wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipes, machinery, or equipment.
• Inspecting drives, motors, belts, fluid levels, and replacing filters as needed.
• Using tools from hammers to electrical testing devices as required.
• Planning repair work using diagrams, drawings, or schematics.
• Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot equipment problems.
