Job summary

CookUnity is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service and maintain commercial kitchen gear. You’ll handle diagnosis, repairs, and installations, with a focus on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires technical training in HVAC/electrical work and experience with plumbing, refrigeration, and equipment protocols. On-site work with collaborative teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigeration issues.
• Willingness to perform general maintenance tasks across areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and fix root causes.
• Repair and replace faulty components including electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
• Install new equipment per manufacturer specs and ensure operation.
• Maintain service records and equipment status for reporting.
• Follow safety protocols while working on-site or in workshop.
• Coordinate repairs and parts orders with internal teams.
