Job summary

Nextech is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of commercial kitchen equipment for a broad client base. You will work independently with strong support from a capable team to ensure timely, high-quality service.

The role includes on-site service, installation, and preventive maintenance, with ongoing training and opportunities for certification. A company vehicle, yearly bonuses, and comprehensive benefits are provided to support your work.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Industry certifications are a plus.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting abilities required.
• Ability to work independently and manage your day effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, installation, and maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment including refrigeration.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues and repair to manufacturer specs.
• Coordinate daily schedules with dispatch and communicate delays professionally.
• Maintain electronic work orders and documentation using company iPad.
• Respond to customer questions and identify additional service needs.
• Participate in rotating on-call shifts for emergencies.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory to high standards.
• Attend ongoing technical training to stay current with industry advancements.
