Job summary

WKS Restaurant Group is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform building maintenance and repair across multiple restaurant units in Albuquerque, NM. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and staff support to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

The role requires 5+ years in restaurant equipment repairs, electrical/plumbing/carpentry skills, and EPA 608 certification, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally and overnight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant and/or food service equipment repairs.
• General electrical, plumbing, carpentry repairs.
• EPA 608 certification.
• Current/valid driver's license.
• Frequent travel to company units locally and remotely, with overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance repair for assigned restaurants.
• Prioritize and complete needed equipment repairs as they occur in a timely fashion.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replacement on restaurant equipment and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Respond to emergency service calls for repair.
• Provide technical support to restaurant staff as needed.
• Work to implement preventive maintenance procedures defined by company representatives.
• Develop a work schedule to minimize impact on customer service and operations.
• Operate and maintain hand, power, and shop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose standard malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
• Estimate time and cost of repairs and cost of equipment.
