Job summary

CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Combo Tech I to support preventive maintenance, repairs and parts for commercial cooking, refrigeration, beverage and other kitchen equipment across multiple restaurant locations.

The role also involves minor carpentry and general maintenance of architectural structures as directed. You will work under the Combo Tech Lead and Regional Facilities Manager, may be on call about one week per month including nights, weekends and holidays, and must be able

Qualifications

Six months to three years experience in HVAC/R, electrical, and facilities maintenance.
EPA Freon handling Type II or above certification.
Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/diagrams and equipment specifications.
On-call availability about one week per month – nights, weekends and holidays.
Experience with chemicals and safety procedures (HAZMAT).

Responsibilities

Schedules repairs and follows preventive maintenance programs on restaurant equipment, refrigeration equipment, POS and building systems, including HVAC and electrical.
Provides troubleshooting remotely to resolve minor equipment issues.
Performs minor repairs to the facility including carpentry, patching walls, tile, doors and painting.
Operates standard maintenance tools safely (power tools, hand tools, electrical testing).
Maintains spare parts inventory and restocks parts in company vehicle; processes invoices.
