The Hunter Group Associates in California is seeking an autonomous Executive Chef to lead a high-volume kitchen and mentor junior staff. This is a working, lead-by-example role with clear systems and recipes in place; strong leadership and emotional maturity are essential.

Responsibilities include managing kitchen finances, overseeing purchasing, inventory and P&L, training teams, and ensuring quality food across multiple units.

• Experience leading and supervising junior chefs.
• Experience working with budgets, purchasing, inventory and P&L.

Job description

Are you a chef with high volume, casual dining background and the dream to move into a FOH spot? We are offering this career path in under a year!

This is a working, lead by example gig, the systems and recipes are all in place. While we do not need creativity. We need an autonomous, emotionally mature leader who does not need hand holding, but who wants to mentor and grow with the company. We have 5 units and will continue expanding in California, Las Vegas and other Southwest cities.

Base Salary up to $100,000 plus an achievable bonus and benefits. Salary increases significantly when you take over as General Manager with oversight of the Kitchen too!
