Job summary

Gin & Luck is seeking an Assistant General Manager to supervise day-to-day operations and support training, recruiting and HR duties. You will report to the General Manager and collaborate with the Operations Director to ensure smooth FOH/BOH operations and exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, cost awareness, and the ability to develop and coach staff while upholding our core values and service standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven management experience in a reputable establishment.
• High EQ and discretion.
• Ability to lead and develop teams.
• Experience with inventory and FOH/BOH systems.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations (FOH/BOH).
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility in working hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Patience and adaptability.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• High ethics, hard worker, and a great sense of humor.

Responsibilities

• Organize, run and supervise smooth and efficient daily operation and opening/closing shifts.
• Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams while fostering our Core Values.
• Assist GM in managing costs and driving sales to meet financial goals.
• Partner with GM and management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise and develop employees.
• Monitor patron satisfaction and maintain service standards; address complaints promptly.
• Oversee admin tasks, SOPs, and daily reports to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Collaborate on scheduling, training, and event management as needed.
• Support HR processes including onboarding, reviews, and staff development.
