Job summary

Checkers & Rally’s in Pontiac, MI is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan and achieving sales goals. You will help lead daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and promote a safe, clean, and energetic workplace.

The role requires 1-2 years of QSR leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours. Benefits include medical and dental plans and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Safety Certification required.
• 1-2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
• Basic math skills required.
• Microsoft Office and general systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build sales and profits by promoting guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations.
• Escalate concerns or recommendations to the General Manager.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring the right team members.
• Ensure policy and procedures are followed on shifts.
• Train team members on operations, policies and guest service.
• Identify and respond to complaints and policy violations.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
