Café Yumm! The Meridian in Eugene, OR is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager. This full‑time role oversees operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager and helps staff develop to move into a Restaurant Manager position.

Responsibilities include training across stations, supervising staff, managing orders and deposits, and ensuring top guest service while driving store profitability. We offer strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon Food Handler’s Permit.
• Possess a valid State-issued driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR.
• Possess or be able to obtain a ServSafe Food Manager Certificate.
• Associate degree and related experience; bachelor’s preferred.
• At least one year in restaurant industry with supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Train staff across all restaurant stations and ensure quality service.
• Order, receive, and account for food, equipment, and supplies.
• Count cash drawers, maintain safety, and run bank deposits.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, counsel, and discipline team members.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints.
• Drive sales and profitability of the restaurant.
• Manage labor, COGS, supplies, and service speed.
• Assist with schedule writing and shift coverage.
