Job summary

Slim Chickens in Lexington Park is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, ensure quality food and service, uphold sanitation, and supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff in a fast-paced setting.

You will recruit and train team members, review performance, manage schedules and inventories, reconcile cash, and ensure compliance with company policies and state laws, while delivering exceptional guest hospitality and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of full-service or fast-casual restaurant management experience.
• Active ServSafe certification is required or highly preferred.
• College diploma or GED equivalent; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to meet quality and sanitation standards.
• Manage and supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff; assign daily tasks.
• Order inventory to ensure adequate product levels across all areas.
• Reconcile cash registers at open and close of each shift; maintain accurate records.
• Enforce company policies and state/federal safety guidelines; ensure staff compliance.
• Recruit, interview, and train staff; conduct performance reviews as needed.
