Little Mamas Italian Kitchen in Charlotte is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and lead by example in hospitality. This hands-on leadership role focuses on staff coaching, scheduling, inventory and delivering an outstanding guest experience.

The position offers a base salary of $70,000–$80,000 per year plus bonus potential, reflecting a high-volume, scratch-made kitchen environment and strong emphasis on teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of restaurant leadership experience in a full-service, high-volume environment.
• Commitment to quality, consistency, and hospitality.
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations including scheduling, inventory, and team development.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain a calm, focused presence.
• Lead by example and foster a positive and motivated work environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing all daily restaurant operations.
• Lead by example in delivering genuine hospitality and maintaining guest-first culture.
• Supervise and motivate hourly team members to meet service and quality standards.
• Assist in staffing needs including interviewing, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
• Help manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor and enforce health, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with county regulations.
• Resolve guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Contribute to achieving financial goals through labor control, food cost awareness, and operational efficiency.
