Job summary

FS Food Group is hiring a Sous Chef to join Mama Ricotta’s and Little Mama’s Italian Kitchen in Charlotte. You will support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and lead the kitchen team to execute high-quality Italian-American dishes.

You will train and mentor staff, manage inventory and ordering, and uphold food safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a sous chef in a high-volume restaurant.
• Experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants.
• Italian or Italian-American cuisine experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Lead and motivate kitchen staff during service.
• Execute and maintain high standards for Italian-American cuisine.
• Assist with menu execution, ordering, and inventory.
