Job summary

Checkers & Rally’s is seeking an Assistant Manager in Lakeland, FL to support the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan and achieving sales and profits goals. You will help with interviewing, training, and supervising team members while ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role requires 1–2 years of QSR management experience, strong communication skills, and a high-energy approach in a fast-paced environment. A Food Safety Certification and Flexibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Safety Certified.
• 1–2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
• Basic math skills.
• Microsoft Office and general systems experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours.
• High energy to keep pace in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager with executing the restaurant plan to achieve sales and profits.
• Promote Guest satisfaction and manage restaurant operations to build sales.
• Escalate concerns or recommendations to the General Manager.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring team members.
• Ensure policy and procedures are followed during shifts.
• Train team members on operations, policies, and guest service.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for guests and employees.
