Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to reinforce our CORE values and lead daily restaurant operations, empowering a team to deliver great food and friendly guest experiences. You will drive accountable, ethical leadership and maintain safe, efficient service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least one year in restaurant or retail, strong hiring and training skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays; minimum 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe certification when needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Ensure customers receive great food and friendly service.
• Schedule staff and monitor labor to meet targets.
