Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager in Marquette, MI to oversee restaurant operations, lead a strong team, and ensure top-quality guest experiences. You will uphold Core Values and drive safe, friendly service while managing scheduling, performance, and training.

The role emphasizes accountability and teamwork, with a focus on developing staff, maintaining health and safety standards, and delivering consistent results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience or equivalent education.
• Experience with sales building and P&L statements, recruiting and training.
• Proven hiring and retention track record.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management; minimum 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe certification required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Provide customers with great food and a friendly experience.
• Reinforce Border Foods CORE values in daily actions.
• Create safe, welcoming, and supportive environments for staff and guests.
