Border Foods LLC in Muskegon, MI is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and build a strong, customer‑facing team. You will drive service excellence, manage scheduling and training, and uphold safety and cash controls in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; minimum 50 hours per week.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and lead a strong team to deliver great food and service.
• Schedule and deploy the team to ensure standards are met and customers are served quickly.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure cash handling compliance.
• Coach and develop team members, manage training and onboarding.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues, representing Border Foods positively.
