Job summary

Snowbird Operations LLC is hiring an Assistant General Manager for the Snowbird resort restaurant. The role works with the General Manager and a team of cooks, servers and attendants to deliver quality food and beverage service and an exceptional dining experience.

You will help manage staff, costs, and guest satisfaction while upholding safety and sanitation standards across shifts, including weekends and holidays. A strong background in hospitality and guest service is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Food Handler Permit, Tips Cert, Sheriff Work Card are preferred/certifications.
• Strong interpersonal, guest service, listening and oral communication skills; conflict management and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Manager in directing restaurant flow and supervising dining room staff to meet guest expectations.
• Support promotions, transfers or terminations based on performance evaluations.
• Ensure guest needs are met during meals to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Oversee financial transactions to maintain accuracy and integrity of processes.
• Maintain daily records including revenues and payroll; complete nightly reports.
• Ensure appearance and sanitation standards are met daily.
• Maintain safety practices for employees and guests; follow alcohol-service regulations.
• Direct staff activities and address guest issues professionally.
