Job summary

The Nest Restaurant at Snowbird is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house operations in a high-volume, on-mountain setting. You will oversee staff, guest service, scheduling, cleanliness, POS and building maintenance to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Assistant Director, you will work closely with the BOH team, manage inventory, safety standards, and daily records.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit required.
• TIPS Certification required.
• DABS background check required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily restaurant operations by managing staff, caring for guests, and resolving any issues quickly and professionally.
• Uphold world-class dining standards; lead by example with a positive attitude and professionalism.
• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with staff and coordinate with Back-of-House for smooth operations.
• Lead team meetings, communicate with directors via end-of-day reports, and ensure timely close-out procedures.
• Oversee onboarding and training for new employees and enforce service procedures and uniform standards.
• Manage inventory, variances, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
• Support daily sales tracking, attendance, and tip-out distributions.
• Create bi-weekly staff schedules in Workday
• Maintain safety practices and ensure compliance with state regulations for alcohol service.
• Oversee building upkeep and cleanliness, coordinating with departments as needed.
• Utilize digital inventory and communication tools and pursue ongoing training.
