Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Restaurant Business Analytics Manager to lead data infrastructure and analytics for a fast-growing national restaurant brand in Orlando. This role focuses on building dashboards and KPI scorecards across sales, labor, and costs, with emphasis on data accuracy and governance.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years of hands-on experience with restaurant tech platforms, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on with restaurant technology platforms and data; menu data management preferred.
• SQL proficiency required; experience with a BI platform (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain executive dashboards, recurring financial reports, and KPI scorecards tracking sales, labor, and food costs.
• Track, report, and analyze performance of the business including product sales and marketing activities.
• Analyze menu item mix, contribution margins, and price sensitivity to balance ingredients and high-margin items.
• Partner with Marketing to analyze campaign performance, promotions, and ROI.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to identify trends and bottlenecks.
• Analyze POS data and guest satisfaction signals to inform pricing, promotions, or cost-saving measures.
• Maintain and update pricing and menu item data files.
• Lead AI initiatives: data readiness, pilot execution, and governance for AI tools.
