Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours and all shifts.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Internal promotion preferred with completed training/certifications.
• Friendly, positive attitude and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drinks according to restaurant standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including back of house, lobby, and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws.
• Coach and train team members on an ongoing basis.
• Find, hire, and develop Taco Bell employees and guide onboarding.
• Assist with safety concerns in the workplace.
• Report issues to manager and HR as needed.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits.
• Monitor inventory and cash procedures; assist with payroll timekeeping.
