Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prefer 2 years of hands-on restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or obtainable prior to training completion.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and direct all hourly employees including daily activities, work assignments, time off requests and unique needs.
• Lead shifts as the management representative, conduct performance evaluations, coaching and corrective discipline as necessary.
• Observe kitchen operations and address issues promptly and directly.
• Direct work by setting hours, weekly schedules and tasks before, during and after open hours.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction; manage food costs, inventory, utility usage, and Health Department ratings.
• Ensure food quality through cleanliness, organization and proper sanitation.
• Ensure CHARM Service Model is executed by every team member with every guest.
• Provide and schedule Front of House and Back of House training to maintain policy compliance.
• Supervise and oversee food and beverage production per recipes and procedures.
• Use Operations Playbook for consistent daily operations and address non-compliance.
• Maintain digital manager logbook for shift notes, product needs, and equipment issues.
• Enforce security measures to protect staff and guests.
• Manage costs of food, supplies, and liquor; conduct weekly inventory and adjustments.
• Practice safe food handling procedures and enforce them across staff.
• Adhere to wage/hour regulations and restaurant filing responsibilities.
• Ensure equipment is maintained or removed from service as needed.
• Oversee line checks, thaw pulls, prep lists, inventory, and ordering.
• Coach staff to meet Ruby Tuesday recipe standards for portions and presentation.
• Maintain food safety certificates and applicable compliance certifications.
• Lead new initiatives including product and menu rollouts; demonstrate creativity.
