Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. (USF) is seeking a Custodial Site Supervisor to lead daily operations at the Safety Rest Area in St. Marys, GA. You will supervise Rest Area Attendants and Weekend Supervisors, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming stop for travelers while managing maintenance and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include inspections, coordinating work orders, and covering duties as needed. A strong focus on safety, communication, and reliability will be essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Janitorial/maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards.
• Ability to lead, manage, and direct a team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used to maintain and repair buildings and other structures.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Professional appearance and a calm, approachable manner.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Rest Area Attendants and Weekend Supervisors.
• Ensure all contract requirements are met at each Safety Rest Area.
• Maintain facilities and grounds to contractual standards.
• Perform regular sanitation, safety, and condition inspections.
• Create and track maintenance work orders as needed.
• Coordinate with Area Managers, Project Manager, and on-site staff to complete repairs.
• Oversee subcontractors as directed.
• Maintain daily/weekly logs, preventive maintenance records, and inventories.
• Perform light maintenance like changing bulbs and filters.
• Assist with grounds and landscape duties as needed.
• Cover attendant or weekend/lead supervisor duties when required.
• Greet travelers and address questions to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Identify hazards and promote a safety-first culture.
