Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Respite Coordinator to oversee short-term relief grants and related services in Arlington Heights, IL. The role includes managing daily operations when the Director is unavailable and coordinating with families and care providers.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, plus at least two years of relevant and supervisory experience; QIDP credentials are required with DSP training within 120 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
• At least 2 years of related experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Must meet state credentials (QIDP) and complete DSP training within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: design engaging activities, ensure grant quality, communicate with families and providers.
• Site Administration: enforce safety, update guidelines, manage program finances with the Director, support staff by phone.
• Personnel Supervision: interview, hire, train and evaluate staff with coaching techniques.
• Compliance: follow state regulations, staff policies and client privacy rules.
