Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center seeks a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to oversee daily operations, staff and department resources in a high-volume hospital. This role partners with management to meet hospital goals and regulatory requirements, ensuring top-quality respiratory care.

The incumbent will coordinate staffing, maintain ABG instruments for quality control, and drive continuous improvement within the respiratory service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program approved by CoARC.
• Current California RCP license required.
• RRT preferred but not required.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in therapeutic/diagnostic bronchoscopy.
• Minimum 2-years in lead/supervisor RT role.
• Minimum 2-years in CCU/ICU/ER/Trauma/pediatric respiratory care.
• Minimum 2-years NICU level II or III with newborn intubation capability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the respiratory service department and resources.
• Prepare monthly schedules and manage supplies in department and related areas.
• Maintain high standards of excellence and lead process improvement initiatives.
