Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead daily operations of the respiratory service, align staffing with hospital goals, and maintain high care standards. You will oversee equipment, regulatory compliance, and process improvements in a dynamic acute-care setting.

The role emphasizes leadership and adherence to Joint Commission and CAP standards, with a focus on critical care experience and NICU capabilities in a Level II/III environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program approved by CoARC.
• Current California RCP license required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in therapeutic and diagnostic bronchoscopies.
• Minimum 2-years as lead or prior supervisor of RT department.
• Minimum 2-years experience in Critical Care areas including ICU/ER/Trauma.
• Minimum 2-years with NICU level II or III, able to intubate newborns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the respiratory service department and resources and collaborate with manager.
• Prepare monthly staffing schedule and approve changes by Coordinator.
• Manage supplies across respiratory department and related areas.
• Maintain high standards of excellence, chair department council, and drive quality improvements.
• Ensure arterial blood gas instruments meet QC and CAP regulatory requirements.
• Ensure department complies with Joint Commission and other regulatory recommendations.
